Directions & Parking
To the Race Start Venue (Eliot Boat Basin, Hammond Lane Eliot Maine)

Coming from the South: |
|
1) Go North on I-95 to Exit 1 (Dennett Road) (first exit in Maine after bridge) |
|
2) Take a left off the exit onto Dennett Road and go 0.2 miles |
|
3) Turn right onto S. Eliot Road/ME Rt. 103 and go 2.5 miles |
|
4) Turn turn left onto Hammond Lane into the Boat Basin (The sign says "Public Boat Access") |

Coming from the North: |
|
1) Go South on I-95 to the Rt. 236 Exit towards Eliot. |
|
2) Take a left off the exit onto Rt. 236 and go two miles to the second light (Beech Road). |
|
3) Take a left onto Beech Road and go one mile. |
|
4) Take a right onto State Road. |
|
5) In 100 yards take a quick left at the gas station onto Farmers Road. |
|
6) Follow
it for 1/2 mile and you will see the entrance to the
Boat Basin on your right. |
| Directions to Mt. Agamenticus (end of race): |

From Eliot Boat Basin: This is the fastest way to get there by car and is in the opposite direction of the bike course. It will take about 20-25 minutes. |

| Take a left out of Hammond Road from the Eliot Boat Basin onto Farmers Road / Rt.103. Follow for 1/2 mile and take a right onto State Road. In 100 yards take a left onto Beech Road. Follow for 1 mile to the traffic light. Take a right on Rt. 236 and follow it to the roundabout where you will take the fourth exit as you go around (Route 1 North). This will then quickly merge onto I-95 in a 1/4 mile. Follow I-95 to Exit 7 (York Exit). Take a left off the exit then back over the highway where you make a right onto Chases Pond Road. This 6-7 mile long road brings you to the base of Mt. Agamenticus where the transition area is. If you happen to get lost, ask anyone as its an easy place to find. Please park on the side of the road as the lot will be used for transition. You may drive up the auto road (.6miles) after your athlete has passed and park on the summit. |
